The Philadelphia Sports Writers Association is not just sports writers. We are a diverse group professionals trying to help the next generation of sports communication and media pros by raising funds for college scholarships while continuing to promote the rich history of Philadelphia sports with our PSWA Banquet each year. As of 2024, that’s 119 banquets and counting. Won’t you please consider joining us and helping to keep this amazing tradition alive? It’s the longest-running organization of its kind in the U.S. and is another reason why Philadelphia is the most passionate sports city in America.
